Status of Implementation
In 2022 the County fleet consumed 1,212,430 DGE (diesel gallon equivalent) of renewable natural gas
(RNG) and renewable liquid natural gas (RLNG) combined.
Total fuel consumption of the County Fleet is over 60 percent alternative, renewable and advanced technology (including hybrids) which results in a total greenhouse gas reduction of approximately 49 percent compared to consumption of the same amount of conventional petroleum-based fuel.
