Status of Implementation
The green building policy referenced in Measure GOV-BE-01 will support conducting turf and landscape irrigation audits and the Department of General Services has completed an administrative draft Green Building Policy which is being peer reviewed by County departments. However, more work is needed to identify funding and responsible parties to conduct audits and benchmarking. County staff are exploring state and federal planning grant opportunities to support this measure.
