Status of Implementation
The County Department of General Services (DGS) has created an inventory of existing bicycle parking and is currently identifying locations where bicycle parking currently does not exist. With the advent and rapid growth of the E-bike market, and the understanding that all bicyclists would be more inclined to ride when their bicycles are well protected. DGS is investigating opportunities to bring bicycle parking indoors by dedicating space inside existing and new (future) facilities and/or creating secure and weatherproof bicycle enclosures in locations that are not conducive to indoor parking.
